Heidi is a dedicated and enthusiastic piano instructor here at Grace Note Music Studio.  With over 15 years of experience, Heidi brings both knowledge and passion to her teaching.  She studied piano throughout high school and college, and her love for the instrument is infectious.  Heidi enjoys teaching beginning students and helping them develop a love for music that will last a lifetime.

In addition to her work at Grace Note, Heidi has a background in music education, having previously served as a music educator in Porterville, Ca.  She is well-versed in a variety of musical genres, including worship music, pop, classical, indie, and broadway tunes.  She is an avid performer, playing the piano in various settings, including churches, bands, and as a soloist and accompanist.  Some of Heidi’s favorite experiences on stage include duets and accompanying for her students, particularly at recitals where they can showcase their progress and growth.  She believes that the piano is the perfect instrument to start your music journey and is committed to helping her students reach their full potential.

Outside of her work as a piano instructor, Heidi is a proud mom of three children.  Her nurturing and caring nature shines through in her teaching style, making her a great fit for younger, beginning students.  Heidi is passionate about instilling confidence in her students and helping them develop a strong foundation in music.  With her warm and friendly approach, Heidi creates a supportive and encouraging environment where her students can thrive and grow as musicians.
